Requests vs AI credits?
Data endpoints (search, barcode, nutrients…) count against your plan's daily request quota. AI endpoints (photo recognition, analysis) draw from a separate monthly credit allowance — each AI call has a fixed credit price, listed above.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Data requests answer 429 until the quota resets at midnight UTC. AI calls answer 402 until your credits reset on the 1st of the month — you're never billed for going over. Need more mid-month? Upgrade instantly or contact us for overage.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes — upgrades apply immediately, downgrades at the end of the billing period, and you can cancel whenever. The Free plan needs no card at all.
