Cookie Policy
FoodBase (foodbase.dev) — Effective date: 7 July 2026 · Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Datalog Ltd. (Даталог ЕООД), UIC (ЕИК) 208878176, ul. Shar Planina 8, Fl. 5, 2700 Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, uses cookies and similar technologies on https://foodbase.dev. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, keep you logged in, remember preferences and, in some cases, collect analytics or marketing data. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) are covered by this Policy as well.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website and dashboard to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to your actions, such as logging in or managing your subscription. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the Service; consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.
- Session / authentication cookies — keep you signed in to your dashboard. Duration: session or up to 30 days.
- Security cookies — e.g. CSRF protection tokens. Duration: session.
- Payment cookies — set by our payment provider, Stripe, during checkout for fraud prevention and payment processing.
- Cloudflare cookies — our website is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, which may set technical cookies such as “__cf_bm” (bot detection, up to 30 minutes) and “cf_clearance” (security challenge verification) that are necessary for security and DDoS protection.
3.2 Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-first, cookieless measurement tool: it does not use cookies or localStorage, does not fingerprint users and does not track individuals across sites. Accordingly, no analytics cookies are set by our website. If we introduce a cookie-based analytics tool in the future, we will update this Policy and request your consent via a cookie banner before setting any such cookies.
3.3 Marketing cookies
We currently do not use advertising or marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request your consent before setting such cookies.
4. Managing cookies
- Because we currently use only strictly necessary cookies (and cookieless analytics), a cookie consent banner is not displayed. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will request your consent via a consent banner before setting them, and provide a way to change your choice at any time.
- You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in or using the dashboard.
5. Contact
For questions about this Cookie Policy or our use of cookies, contact us at [email protected]. Your data protection rights, including the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg), are described in our Privacy Policy.
